The Loxton District Chamber of Commerce and our many valued sponsors, are proud to host Light Up Day.
This is Loxton's Major event of the year where the town shines brighter than ever on this day, officially turning on its magic to begin the month long Christmas Lights Festival.
Free to the community, this icon event brings together families and friends to enjoy a whole day of entertainment, music, markets, shopping, food and the most fun your children will have outside of opening their presents on Christmas morning!
Loxton Light Up Day is renowned for its incredible fireworks spectacular at 9pm on the riverfront, providing a brilliant finale to a fantastic day. One of the Riverland’s most popular and enduring events, uplifting the spirit and touching the heart, demonstrating the very essence of what makes our charming town so special.
Free craft activies at 11am at Santa's Cave and then at the Rotunda at 4.30pm, 5.30pm and 6.30pm. Story and craft in the Loxton Library at 10.30am.

The cave is open on LIght Up day from 10am to 1pm and again at 5pm to 8pm.. Best to visit early so you have time to collect the Reindeer Road goodies from the traders as this is only available on Light Up Day.
The popular 'Reindeer Road' is back again in 2017!. Collect a bag and map at the front of the cave and set off to collect lots of great giveaways from various shops in East Terrace. Children can fill their bags with a variety of goodies.
East Terrace comes alive from 4.30pm with market stalls, food, music, activities, amusement rides and performances to suit the whole family.
Loxton's vibrant village-style retail precinct offers a unique shopping experience with the majority of businesses still family-owned or independently run. We are proudly local and our businesses are firmly focussed on welcoming everyone to our friendly town.
