Loxton 'Lights Up' - Shops open 9am - 8.30pm
24th November - This is the day Loxton officially turns on its magic. Enjoy strolling through the shops and market stalls, visit Santa in his cave, sip a cool drink or munch on scrumptious food while soaking up the entertainment or partaking in various activities avaliable during the day. When the sun finally sinks behind the river gums, the fireworks begin. The display is one of the most spectacular examples of fireworks artistry in country SA. Don’t miss it. It’s then time to drive around town - either in your own vehicle or on board the Christmas bus - and wonder at the fairyland that Loxton becomes after dark. Sheer magic! Fairy lights twinkle all over town, reindeers prance on front lawns, but the true meaning of Christmas is not forgotten either.
